Speech Language Therapy

Effective communication skills are one of life’s most important tools and a foundational part of learning. Speech and language skills begin to develop in infancy and continues throughout a child’s school ages as they explore, play, interact, and imitate model what they say and hear.

Children demonstrating difficulty in the area of speech and language may be hard to understand, use few words to communicate and interact, and may also demonstrate difficulty with following directions.  Communication breakdowns may also lead to frustration and behaviors.  If you have concerns about your child’s development in speech and language, seeking an evaluation would be the first step in initiating the process to determine if therapy is right for your child.

Individual speech therapy is offered for children ages 18mo-12 years old.
